A dark ambery wood
Strengthen the wood density of Guaiac with Patchouli Oil Indonesia and Cypriol Oil India. The ambery facet is accentuated by the addition of Cabreuva Oil Brazil. Juniper berry highlights the spicy fresh woody character.

Matière Première Bois d’Ébène is a dark, smooth and incredibly refined woody fragrance. It opens with a rich combination of guaiac wood and patchouli that feels warm, deep and slightly smoky without becoming harsh or overpowering.
As it develops, the cedar and resinous notes give it a polished, almost addictive quality. It smells expensive, masculine and confident, but it’s also clean and sophisticated enough to wear in professional settings. The performance is excellent—it projects nicely and leaves a warm, elegant trail that lasts for hours.
What impressed me most is how much character it has while still remaining extremely wearable. It’s perfect for evenings, cooler weather or anytime you want something mature and distinctive. Bois d’Ébène is understated luxury done properly and another excellent release from Matière Première. Easily an A-level fragrance.
