CREATIVE APPROACH: In a radical approach, Aurélien Guichard has created a modern, oversized, and easy-to-wear lavender. He contrasts two lavenders: a lavandin with vibrant, metallic facets, cultivated exclusively for MATIERE PREMIERE in its own Ecocert-certified fields, and an organic lavender from Haute Provence, floral and sweet. Amplified by musks and Cashmeran, it diffuses a luminous and enveloping trail.

This is more interesting than universally likable. Lavender with some industrial edge. Clean Skin but with personality. Not boring..smells amazing on me...
Lavender is one my of favorite scents. I have so many fougeres and lavender fragrances but Metal Lavender is on another level. I blind bought this because, by the description, I knew it was something I needed my nose on. It did not disappoint. I love, love, love this fragrance so much that I haven't stopped wearing it since I received it. Morning, noon and night it is perfect. More so, if you truly love lavender, this is for you.
Amazing as all your products are
This fragrance is exactly as described. Icy, metallic lavender that stays true from opening to drydown; very long lasting (at least 6+ hours on my skin) and in my opinion, appropriate to layer with other fresh and aromatic spring/summer scents.
On its own, it's a bit screechy on my skin so I am testing to find a layering combination that tames the metallic notes.
As usual, this fragrance from Matiere Premier is awesome! I’ll be buying the 100ml after I get the Vanilla Powder extrait.
